From November 7th – November 9th, gather with friends, family, and balloon enthusiasts from across the country to enjoy a weekend full of wonder. Our festival features morning ascensions of hot air balloons, captivating glows at dusk, and plenty of food, vendors, and entertainment.

Are we able to book a room at a discount to bring our family for the festival?
Yes! We’ve partnered with the Golden Nugget Laughlin to offer special discounted room rates exclusively for Bullhead City Balloon Festival attendees and participants. What are the dates and times for the Bullhead City Balloon Festival?
The festival will take place from November 7th, 8th & 9th, 2025. Gates open at 5:30 AM each day for the morning balloon ascensions and close at 10 PM, Friday and Saturday after the evening balloon glows. Sunday the event closes at 3 PM.
Where is the festival located?
The event is held at Rotary Park, 2315 Balboa Drive, Bullhead City, AZ 86429.
Is there a fee to attend the festival?
Yes, there is a nominal entrance fee to help cover the costs of the event. Children under 12 enter free, accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be purchased at the gate. Tickets are $10 / per each day or $20 for the weekend. Onsite single day entry is $10.
What should I bring to the festival?
We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, a camera, and comfortable walking shoes. A blanket or chairs to enjoy the bands. Please note, no outside food or drinks are allowed and this will be closely monitored.
Are there activities for children?
Absolutely! The festival is family-friendly with activities like a bounce house, face painting, shopping and eating. There’s something fun for everyone!
Can I participate in a balloon ride?
Dependent on availability (and weather), we will ensure that all of our sponsors get their rides, first. Given this opportunity becomes available, balloon rides will be sold to community spectators (on premises) for $200 per person.
What happens if it rains?
Balloon activities are weather-dependent. In case of inclement weather, some events may be delayed or canceled. However, many of our ground activities will continue as planned.
Will there be an ATM on site?
Yes, the event will have an ATM on site. This will be located under the pavillion, behind the beer garden.
What day are my pre-sale tickets valid for?
Pre-sale tickets are valid for the single day picked up at will-call line prior to enterting the event.
